Question Do you think Superman could literally tear the Enterprise-D in half?
Do you think he could literally tear a Borg Cube in half?
If a Borg Cube was traveling at warp 9.9999, and Superman was in its direct path, bracing himself, what would happen when the Cube hit him? Could Superman possibly stop the Cube, or is that beyond his power?
Answer Hi John -
I think he could! Though the level of Superman's strength has varied in the comic books, at times he has been shown to life an entire skyscraper, which I think gives him sufficient strength to tear through the metal hull of the Enterprise.
I also think tearing through a Borg Cube wouldn't give him much problem.
If the Cube was traveling in space I think it would knock Superman out of the way as he wouldn't be braced against anything. I don't believe he could arbitrarily stop an object moving that fast and, that if he tried, his arms would tear through the thing but it would keep going.
Hope that helps.
Deran
