Question QUESTION: I asked about energy beings because in the same episode Seven said that "all biological beings eventually perish," or words to that effect.
Since she was a Borg, and has knowledge that 95% of physical species probably don't have, maybe this could be another proof that most energy beings do eventually die.
But since energy beings are not considered biological, then I guess it's moot.
Thanks, anyway.
ANSWER: Hi John -
Did she say that? I guess I missed that episode and, according to the 'laws of biology' she's right.
My personal thought would be that energy beings do eventually expire/die/transform/pass on or otherwise trade their level of existence on this space/time plane for something else, but I really don't have any evidence I can bring it to support that.
Hmmmmm, makes one wonder...........

QUESTION: There is evidence, because the Caretaker grew old and died, and he was an energy being.
Can you think of any examples of non-corporeal beings that are not energy? For example, the Douwd, Trelane, Calamarain, Companion, etc., are all without a body, but they are all energy-based. (The Calamarain is ionized gas, which I assume is energy.)
Answer Hi John -
I'm trying to think of some, there have to be some that are 'ghost like' or constructed of something else (like the Meklotians).
Wasn't there an episode of the Original Series where some ghostlike entities were chanting "Caaaptain Kiiiiirk"?
I'm not an expert on the Original Series but something like that comes to mind.
