Given what we've seen Cap's shield withstand in the comic books I'd say it could handle anything on the list with out too much trouble except for a photon torpedo.
The photon's use anti-matter in a weaponized form and that should be able to eat through the matter of the shield.
Data's greatest advantage would be his speed and he should be able to take down the Dynamic Duo before they could do much to him.
The gravity at the core of a black hole is so strong that not even light can escape. Superman might be able to survive for a little while, but, cut off from a source of viable solar energy, he wouldn't last for very long.
Wolverine and the Hulk would be crushed by the intense gravimetric pressures pretty quickly.
Cap is a pretty easy going guy and would probably ask Superman not to do that with his shield. Cap's pretty tactically smart too and would probably try negotiation before he'd engage such a superior being.
My feeling is that Picard was afforded more respect than Professor X. Picard was pretty much recognized throughout the Federation and Starfleet as a gifted leader and someone whose skills were admired. Professor X was reviled in some sectors for his dedication to the cause of mutants, labeled by Colonel Striker as a something akin to a terrorist sympathizer for having constructed a school for mutants, and Striker was allowed to stage a raid against the school and imprison Professor X for his own purposes with the tacit blessing of the U.S. Government.
I think that, even though he had been abducted by the Borg, Captain Picard was still given back the Enterprise and treated with respect and dignity after that ordeal, whereas the government of the state(s) in which he lived were only too willing to demonize Professor X.

QUESTION: Capt's shield would protect him from the Crystalline Entity and Superman's x-ray vision? Could you elaborate? Would he be able to deflect the entire beam from the Entity? It seems that his shield is too small to totally protect him from it, and he'd still die.
I read that even Superman was contained by Wonder Woman's lasso. Is this true?
Superman does need to breathe, correct?
Superman could obviously defeat physical beings in Trek, but what about energy beings? I don't know how (without technology) he could defeat, say, organians, Metrons, or even Calamarain.

Whoops! I guess I skipped over those, sorry! It shouldn't protect him from the Entity's abilities as the Entity can consume entire planets. Also, since there is no lead in the shield Superman should be able to see through it. Sorry, got distracted by something on my end.
Apparently Superman can be contained by Wonder Woman's lasso though I take something of an issue with that. How the Amazons could have constructed a lasso that can contain and control an alien being (Kryptonian) is beyond me and seems a bit of a stretch.
Superman's need to breathe has been portrayed very inconsistently in the comics. Some say he can hold his breath indefinitely (meaning that he does need to breathe), others have said that, so long as he has an adequate supply of solar radiation that is all he needs to sustain himself, even in space.
The current thinking is that he does indeed need to breath and must use some form of portable air supply when on deep space missions, but that he can hold his breath for a very, very long time.
Yeah exactly, he'd have a tough time defeating an Organian, Metron or Calamarain unless he could produce energy via his heat vision (or something like that) that was able to disrupt their energy matrix. Without tapping some type of outside source I think he'd have a tough time with that.
