Question Hi I have a question regarding the Star Wars figures. I have a Mace Windu figure with an Obi-One coin. Do you know if this is worth any money?
thank you
Cheryl
Answer Hello. First of all, thank you for asking.
Admittedly, I am not a very big "Star Wars" collector and I am not fully aware of how much certain memorabilia are worth. As a result, I did some research on this topic online before answering your question.
For the Mace Windu figure:
The price depends on the manufacturer of the figure, but according to my research and past experience (I might not be an avid collector, but I still have a mini-collection ;) ), the average-sized "Star Wars" action figure would typically cost around US$7.00 to US$15.00 (assume that I'm referring to U.S. dollars when I write "$" from here on in). Of course, you'll have to consider factors such as the figure's condition and rarity. Considering that it's a Mace Windu figure, it's probably only been recently manufactured, so I would suspect that rarity would not factor in. If it's in near-perfect condition, it might still be worth its original price (which, as I said earlier, is anywhere between $7.00 to $15.00).
It really depends on which coin you're referring to. If you're referring to the coins produced by Hasbro, then, as you can see from the first source listed above, the coin AND the figure that comes with it would, together, cost a mere $7.00. However, if the coin belongs to the "Power of the Force" series, the coin itself would typically be worth around $15.00.

For more information, you might want to try contacting Steve Sansweet, Lucasfilm's head of fan relations (and the owner of the largest collection of "Star Wars" memorabilia). He currently does not have a public e-mail address, so to contact him, you might want to do so via webmaster@starwars.com.
I hope that was helpful. If you have any further questions, or if you found anything unclear in my response, please feel free to ask again.
