Star Wars & Phantom Menace/List of Star War movies
Expert: William Dodson - 5/14/2005
QuestionWould you please send me a list of Star Wars movies starting
with the first one? I would appreciate it.
Thank you
AnswerSure thing man. Here it goes, starting by when they were released:
Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)
Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (not yet released to the public; comes out in theatres on May 19th)
There we are, the entire Star Wars saga (as far as the movies go.) You can figure out how they fit chronologically by putting the episode numbers in the right order, so you can watch them either chronologically or by when they were released.
There are a few more that were made, but those were all either cartoons or ewok adventures, all oriented to children under the age of 10 and having little to nothing to do with Star Wars itself (except for the recently made Clone Wars series, which actually tied in a lot of the story between episodes II and III and was a cartoon more geared to teenagers and young adults.) Oh yeah, and there was a special holiday edition of Star Wars, but George Lucas, the creator of Star Wars himself, has said that he wishes he could gather up every copy of that holiday version and burn them all.
Alright, I hope that helps you. If you have any follow-ups or new questions, or if you need me to clarify something I said in this one, then feel free to ask. That's what I'm here for. Check you later
