Question I have been told by two people in the past that Star Wars was originally written in the 1700's. I have tried to prove them wrong but cannot find any information on weather they are wrong or not. Could you help me please?

Answer Hi there Noah! Well, I guess that instead of trying to find information to prove your friends wrong, you should ask them for proof of what they are saying. The greatest proof you can use against them is that George Lucas holds the rights to the Star Wars scripts. The only thing they could argue is that Lucas based the Star Wars universe in several time periods, such as Feudal Japan, the Wild West, Chivalric Medeival Times, etc. But the Star Wars univers, as well as its characters and its plot was created by George Lucas.
