About H Louise
Expertise
I can answer all questions regarding Stargate SG1, the original movie and eventually the spin-off series Atlantis as well. I try to be fully up-to-date and have all the released DVDs so far. I can answer questions on the characters, the actors that play them, behind the scenes information, technology, mythology and questions involving quotes and the episodes, including future storylines and news etc. Any question I don`t know the answer to I will happily research until I find it.

Experience
I have been a fan of the show since it was first aired. I try to be fully updated and have all the released DVDs including that of the movie that started it all. I am also an allexpert in the categories of Angel and Star Trek Voyager.

Subject: Jaffa head tattoos

Question
1. In the season 7 episode "Orpheus" there was a scene that showed the white haired Jaffa lining up 3 Jaffa (2 men and 1 woman) and going to execute them, one of the men had the head tattoo of Heru'ur, but I didn't recognize the head tattoos of the other man and woman, which system lord did they serve?

Answer
Follow-up:

Hi,
After watching the episode again, the scene you describe originally has four Jaffa lined up but one runs away and gets shot in the process. The white haired Jaffa has the symbol of Ba'al and the man that runs away has Cronus. The three left, one of which is as you say a Jaffa with the tattoo of Heru'ur. The other man and woman have what look like a variation of the Anubis tattoo within a circle. It could be that they are rebranded and once were Anubis's or could be a completely unheard (as yet) Goa'uld Lord? Or it could possibly be the Lord Seth's symbol. Or it could indeed be Anubis's symbol, but a different variation - Yu has about two different tattoos.

Here's two links to a list of the Jaffa head symbols that you may find interesting:

Then go to the link called, I think 'Jaffa labelling' with the picture of Bra'tac.

Hope that helped, sorry I couldn't be certain on the last man and woman - but there's no information on that exact symbol.

Dear Gregory James,

Thank you for your question.
I am going to need to watch the episode again to see what symbols you are refering to then hopefully I will get back to you with the answer to which system Lord they served. I've got it on DVD so hopefully I'll be able to get a clear image.

I'll post a follow-up soon.

Yours H Louise.
