Expertise
I know every song published. I have knowledge of what most of their songs are written about. I have knowledge about the original band and about many of the musicians chosen after "pretzel logic". This is a great songwriting team that was too intelligent for mainstream outlets but still found a way to have enough crossover to be called "classic rock", "jazz fusion rock", "contemporary jazz rock"...while we heard many singles from them, most of their best stuff never got on the radio.

Steely Dan - aja

Question
Hi. I'm considering buying a japanese CD version of Aja (MVCZ-10077). Has anyone heard it? How's the fidelity? Bright? I'll be sick if I shell out $35 and find the sound is flat. Thanks!!!

Answer
I don't think you need to. I downloaded all my 'Dan stuff from rhapsody and the sound is full and awesome as you would expect AJA to be. Each song was $0.89. I have not heard of the version you are interested in but I am sure it is out there. If you have the money buy it and let me know how good it is. Maybe I'll get it too:)
