Question
I long time ago, I used to have an (get this)
8-track of Rod Stewart...I thought it was called "Ladders and Snakes" but maybe I'm wrong. It had, I'm sure "Maggie May",and a song that the lyrics mentioned "If I knew what I know now, when I was younger(stronger?) Well, I can't find this album anywhere!  Can y'all help me out?

Answer
John,  Your talking about Snakes and Ladders (1976),  The song you mentioned is Oohlala.  Rod did a remake of this on his 1998 When We Were The New Boys cd.  If you haven't heard it it's worth checking out.  I am 99% positive this was never released on CD.  I have the LP myself. Here is a list of tracks on the LP.  It was a greatest hits type of LP.  Thank you for writing,  Tracey

Snakes And Ladders (1976)

Pool Hall Richard
Cindy Incidentally
Ooh La La
Sweet Lady Mary
Flying
Pineapple And The Monkey (instrumental)
You Can Make Me Dance, Sing Or Anything
Had Me A Real Good Time
Stay With Me
Miss Judy's Farm
Silicone Grown
Around The Plynth
