Strength Training - problem with my body

Question
hi,
i am 22 years old male and have been working out in a gym for about 4 years with my older brother. i have been going to the gym with my older brother (23) and my younger brother (19). we eat pretty much the same thing as we tend to buy chinese takeaway. the only differences are the supplement we take.
i am taking the whey 100% protein gold edition by optimum nutrition 3x a day and no addition supplement. my older brother on the other hand is taking boddy ripped protein and also nitric oxide reactor. my younger brother, who has just gone to gym in the last 6 months is taking max's protein powder and also nitric oxide reactor. as you can see i am not taking the nitric oxide reactor thing.
my body now has got some muscle but not big enough for 4 years hardwork. while my older brother has getting bigger ans bigger. my younger brother has got some muscle too but he is just started for about 6 months. my body is more like the first 6 months of my exercise not 4. is there anything wrong with my body? or is that all because of the nitric thing? any suggestion? thx. pls also send the answer to my email

Answer
There is very little evidence that any legal  supplements have a significant impact on your muscle development as long as you are getting enough protein (about 1-1.2 grams/kg of bodyweight is enough for someone working out really hard).  All that extra protein is a waste of your money.  Eat a good diet and maybe take a litle extra protein and pay more attention to your workout routine. And the nitric oxide reactor,  maybe we  should bottle monkey poop and promote it as a muscle builder, hormone booster, or some other reactor.....
