Question
hi im almost 16 and ive been working out for about two years. im 5' 10" 145 lbs. and if i start taking  creatine, what's a good product? I heard micronized creatine is better than the regular monohydrate and if i take creatine, is it ok to mix it with a myoplex original shake(post workout)?? i want to gain some lean mass, but i wouldn't know when to take creatine.

Answer
Hi Kyle.  For most kids your age, gaining mass is not a result of supplementation.  It's a result of eating right and training hard.  I never recommend any supplements to teenagers.  If I was going suggest some creatine supplementation, my recommendations would be: 1)Use micronized creatine since it dissolves better 2)Take about 5 grams/day for two weeks on training and non-training days.  After the two weeks, take 5 grams only on training days 3) Take creatine post -workout.
