Question
QUESTION: Hi,

I am a lad of 16 + 1/2 years. I want to ask how much should I force myself. Like if I can do maximum 4 Crunches then I feel like stoping it. It is happening from two month, from the day I started my exercise. I cannot do more than this and push-ups too. Should I force myself more than 4 tolike 6 everyday.

Why do one feel very tired/broken after 2 or 3 days of stopping exercise ?

ANSWER: hey
this question depends on a lot of things but in short , when it comes to doing push ups and crunches , dont hold back, push your self as hard as you can !

and to the 2nd question , you really shouldn't feel tired after 2 days of no exercise unless you spend the two days literally sitting on your butt the whole time. If you find you feel tired a lot i would look into how healthy are you really eating

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION:  If I push myself then wont it pain afterward ? Would it be allright?

In place of 2 days, say after a few days. Then ?
My mother stopped going to jym, after a few days she felt very tired for many days. When I left exercising I felt tired foe a few days.

Answer
Hey ,
there is a difference between pain and muscle soreness
muscle soreness is a good thing , it means you worked hard and your body is building a stronger muscles .
Exercise should make you feel tired temporarily but only if you worked very hard , if you are tired for a week after working out , its not your work out . It's more likely your diet , sleep pattern or something else. Exercising properly should increase your energy levels not diminish them .
