Question when trying to lose weight should i do cardio and strength training or just cardio.

I would do both...integrate a high intensity circuit.
For example:
Bodyweight Squats x 20
Jumping Jacks x 20
Push-ups x 20
Mountain Climbers x 20
Inverted Rows x 20
Running in place x 20 seconds
Lunges x 20
Or do the same as above but add 1 minute running on the treadmill between each strength set.
