Experience
I have been a personal trainer, aerobics instructor, nutrition advisor and boot camp instructor for several years,in South Florida.
I generally prefer to train people outdoors in a park setting. The workout outside is just as tough as a gym workout.I can give people a excellent workout using just their bodyweight.I do a bootcamp style class with groups of 5-10 people.

Question
hello,
i am undertaking an assignment and i would like just a few pointers on how exactly i would get a client to train in a gym exercising on weight training, pin-loaded equipment, free weights or cardiac exercises. I'd like to know how many reps of each he would have to do and what types of other exercises he would  have to do, if you could help i would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Daniella,
Thank you for your question.
Basically, you would want to have the client do a full body workout-3 days a week-doing exercises such as:
leg press
calf press
squat
lunge
bicep curl
tricep pressdown
chest press
lat pulldown
row
crunches
leg lifts.
Usually, beginning exercisers will do 3 sets of 12 repititions per exercise-with 20-30 minutes of cardio exercise.
Thank You,
Bonnie
