Question hi i play nose tackle at my high school and i want to turn at least some of my fat into big and strong muscles.....can you help me?
Answer Hello,
This is a very complex question. I would start training in the weight room at least 3 times per week (i.e. Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Focus on multiple joint movements and keep the reps somewhat high.
For example:
Overhead Squats 1 x 10
Barbell Back Squats 3 x 10
Romanian Deadlifts 3 x 10
Calf Raises 3 x 10
Bench Press 3 x 10
Lat Pulldowns 3 x 10
Shoulder Press 3 x 10
Plate Crunches 3 x 25
Russian Twists 2 x 15
Hyperextensions 1 x 15
