Question
QUESTION: Hi,
I do both cardio and strength workout, for over a year, but if i rest for over 2 days my muscles get realy weak and go down. Do i have to workout every second day to preserve it? And also is there any other way of increasing testosterone other than steroids.

Thanks for the help
Regards
Jeff

ANSWER: Give me an example of your workout, like what do you do sets, reps, frequency, etc...  By the way, intense exercise like weight training increases your testosterone and a healthy sex life.

QUESTION: i dont know how many but i do chin ups for 1 hour (not all at once), 25 minute jog (no stoping), 110 situps, around 80 push ups (not all at once). I do all that every 2 days and if i fell stiff on the 2nd day after workout i give another rest, but if i rest when i dont need it, my muscles feel realy weak.

Thanks for the help
Regards
Jeff

Answer
My guess is that part of your problem may be your diet.  I would recommend you look at the Food Guide Pyramid.  You may not be eating the right foods and maybe not enough calories to help your recovery.

I also feel that your workout is very inefficient.  No real structure and too many reps and not enough intensity.  You are also neglecting doing strength training for your core, legs, etc....

I would recommend you look at a Men's Fitness magazine or similar magazine and look at an example of total body workout you can do 3 times a week.  When you find one you like, you can email me back the workout and I'll give you my opinion on it.

Hope that  helps.
