Subject: Resistance cables

Question
I train in Kenpo 2-3 days 1 hour sessions.
Using HEAVY TENSION RESISTANCE CABLES in a full body workout how many sets and reps would enhance muscle gain?
Al training is done at home.
I have TBT Cable and Bodylastics as well as chin/dip station. Thanks

Answer
That's a tough question to answer since many different things can work.  Your body will adapt to almost any increase in tension or intensity that it is not used to by increasing muscle mass and strength.  Most of the literature does say that between 8 to 12 repetitions at 2 to 3 sets per muscle group seems to be ideal but changing it up every once in awhile can help too.

Hope that helps.  You may want to look at www.t-nation.com and other similar websites for different workouts and information.
