Question
Hi Corey, Im 29yr old (i hope this site is for females?) i weigh 58kg and was quite active up until may '08. I am wanting to go back to my weight of 50kg and become as fit as possible before next season's netball trials in Feb '09. Im not keen on p/t and prefer to work on my own at my own pace. Unlike most i am very self driven all i need is the right program. Eg Eating diary exercise plan. Can i get all this from going to see a dietitian and what sort of training should i start off with.

Cheers Kiana

Answer
Hello Kiana,
I would first go to a dietitian and get on a balanced meal plan.  For strength training, focus on a prehabilitation workout addressing any imbalances you have.  Then get started on a undulating periodization training plan to maximize your power, strength and endurance.  Let me know if I can give you more direction...
Corey
