Question
Im trying to bulk up. Im 6'1" and I weight 160.. Probably take a couple so lets say 155??? My eating habits are not good being a college student and you know how that goes. Some days im only eating 1-2 maybe 3 meals a day before I crash. I was wondering what could help me gain healthy weight to build muscle without buying a gym membership quite yet? I know about carbs and vegs lean meat but just wondering if there was a alternative to suit my lifestyle?

Also can I get bigger and ripped my doing push ups, pull ups and bicep curls? I think im pretty ripped now and I've never really lifted weights.. Just for like a week and then would stop for months on in so im trying to stay ripped as I currently am but bulk up to a good 180-190.. Maybe even 200 if my frame will hold it.

Answer
Hi Deirell,
If you do not have a gym membership-you can do bodyweight exercises:
push ups
pull ups
squats
stationary lunges
walking lunges
If you have dumbbells, you can do the following exercises:
bicep curls
tricep kickbacks
shoulder press
lateral raise
front raise
Abdominal exercises:
crunches
leg lifts
bicycles
torso twists
side bends.
As for your nutrition, you need to eat 5-6 small meals per day-more carbohydrates and protein-less fat and sodium.
Drink plenty of water each day.
Thanks,
Lisa
