Strength Training/Strength training for over weight people


Am 22 years, 88kg, 5ft 8inches and i belong to overweight category. Strength training is to tone and strengthen your muscle. Will the flabby parts of the body get harden or get into shape when i do strength training? Your advice for people who are in overweight category doing strength training.

The flab you are talking about is excess body fat and you lose that when you are expending more calories than you are taking in. It does not harden up. Strength training can help you lose fat and gain muscle mass. It is highly recommended for weight loss along with some form of aerobic training as well.
