Question
I currently exercise at home about 4-5 times per week, usually on an evening. However, I am hoping to start training in a morning shortly, up to 5 days a week for aout 45-60 minutesd each session. I would like to incorporate weight training, cardio and ab routines and would be most grateful if you could give me some idea of the perfect split for these and how long for each one etc.  In my home gym I have a treadmill, exercise bike, multi-gym, fitness ball, barbell and various dumbells.  I really enjoy doing weight/exercise DVD's like Cathe Friedirhc and Jari Love etc., but do not enjoy step etc. as I am not very coordinated!  Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.   Kind regards.   Jane

Answer
Hi Jane,
Why don't you do one day of just cardio-45-60 minutes.
You should do a 3 day a week full body workout using your multi-gym.
Upper body exercises:bicep curls,skull crushers,chest press,row,lat pulldown-3 sets of 15 reps.
Lower body exercises- squats, lunges, leg press, calf press,adductor,abductor-3 sets of 15 repititions.
Ab exercises-crunches,captains chair,knee ups.
            Thanks-Good Luck.
