Expert: Rich Ruffing Date: 11/5/2007 Subject: Cardio/Weight training routines
Question I currently exercise about 4-5 times per week, usually on an evening. However, I am hoping to start training in a morning shortly, up to 5 days a week for aout 45-60 minutesd each session. I would like to incorporate weight training, cardio and ab routines and would be most grateful if you could give me some idea of the perfect split for these and how long for each one etc.
Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.
Jane
Answer Hi Jane. Without knowing too much about your goals and health history I would suggest the following:
*Perform a total-body strength training routine 3xweek.
*Perform your cardio/interval training along with your abdominal work the other two days
*Each workout should last no longer than 60 minutes.
