Please do not ask for a specific workout plan. In this field, I need to SEE you and evaluate your current physical capabilities. Answering such questions without assessing your needs and goals through a consultation would be irresponsible of me. Please be clear and concise in your questions. The more info you can give me, the more specific info I can provide.

im about 5 foot 9 and weigh 205 pounds, as a football player ive developed a lot of lower body strength, but ive had issues building chest strength during the past few years. I get a lot of pain in my shoulder when i do a laying down bench press so ive attempted to work around it by doing inclines and nautilus machines. However ive seen minimal results in the past few years. I was wondering if you had any tips on how to build chest strength.
Also, i heard that you cannot actually lose fat while gaining muscle, i was wondering if this was true.
Thank you
Answer My advise is to begin using dumbbells. On teh way down (bench press), turn your wrists so that your palms are facig eachother (neutral) and then when you press you can turn them as your would. If pain persists, keep them "neutral". If you have shoulder pain, start doing some rotator cuff exercises to strengthen them (check out my website for awesome videos on strengthening the RTC). www.standAPARTfitness.com
Yes, its true...you cannot build mass and lose fat at the same time. Mass needs calories...losing fat needs a restriction in calories. Good luck.
