Answer MJ, there is no short answer for this. Speed takes leg and core strengh, reactive strength, speed drills, agility drills, form drills, and good mechanics. Try to find a copy of "Sport Speed and Agility Training", by Cissik and Barnes. ISBN: 1-58518-875-1
