Question
hey im cory, I only have dumbbells, a bench and a bar with no rack.  How can I build up my abs and chest.  I'm not trying to loose weight in the AB area I just want more muscle and strengthening.  What exercises can I do?  Do situps and pushups actually do anything?  Also how can i get quicker and faster in ice hockey?

Answer
Hey Cory, dumbells are great and you can do quite a lot of strength training with them.  Include bench press, flys, curls, tricep extensions, lunges, cleans, standing press, and bent rows to start..3 sets of 8-12.  Ab work includes crunches, bent knee setups, and core bridge work.  Speed and quickness can be improved with increased leg and hip strength along with sprint and agility training.  Consistency is the key...Joe
