Question Hi, I read a lot about cretine powders, so I decided to try it. I know that creatine absorbs water in the muscles, so I wonder if when I'll stop taking it (after 6-8 weeks) will my muscles get smaller (probably in muscles will be less water)?
Answer You are right that creatine pulls water into the muscles...but you may be able to maintain some of the gain in weight if you still drink plenty of water (i.e. 8 x 8 ounces) a day. Keep training hard and stay focused on proper nutrition (i.e. eating 5-6 meals a day). I have been off creatine for about 4 weeks and have only lost about 3 pounds or so.
Train hard!
