Question
hey i hav recently started heavy wait trainigand was thinking, once i have built an amount of muscle that i am happy with, if i stop training will the muscle deteriate? if so how many times a weak would u need 2 train 2 keep that muscle?

Answer
Dear Andy,

Thanks for your question.

Muscle gets big and strong in response to loads and resistance, so the answer is yes.  If you stop training the muscle will ultimately deteriorate when it's not being worked.

You will need to keep up the training at least twice a week to maintain the mass and strength gains.

Good luck & feel free to ask more questions.
