Question
Hi Joe, I was wondering what exercises should I be doing to improve my speed on the ice; both explosive and top-end. I've been doing sprints and hill climbs, is there anything you can recommend?
Cheers, Jason

Answer
Hey Jason, there are many exercises and speed drills you can do.  I like Romanian dead lifts, lunges, step ups, and plyometric exercises.  Sprinting up hill is very good. After a good warmup do 10yd to 30yd up hill sprints with a long rest between each rep the longer the sprint. 1-3 minutes.
