Experience
I have been a personal trainer, aerobics instructor, nutrition advisor and boot camp instructor for several years,in South Florida.
I generally prefer to train people outdoors in a park setting. The workout outside is just as tough as a gym workout.I can give people a excellent workout using just their bodyweight.I do a bootcamp style class with groups of 5-10 people.

Question
I had a gastric bypass surgery on Jun 25th and am ready for some strength training,  I have lost 75 lbs and belong to Curves, which I do 3x a week.  I also walk 1-2 miles a day. I am now ready to do some strength training.  I just need some info on what to do.  I have a solo-flex, recumbent bike, and a personal size trampoline system at my disposal. Please give me some info.  Thanks, Lois

Answer
Hi Lois-thank you for your question.
Good job on losing the 75lbs-congratulations!!!
The trampoline and recumbent bike are great aerobic exercisers-you can do those for 20-30 minutes every day-just make sure that you get your heart rate up and break a sweat.
The best strength training exercises are:
lunges
squats
leg press
calf press
leg extension
leg curl
chest press
bicep curl
tricep pressdown
row
crunches
leg lifts
I generally recommend to most people that they do 3 sets of 12-15 repititions.
Watch your diet-less fat and sodium and more cabohydrates and protein.
Drink lots of water-at least 8-8oz glassses a day.
Let me know if I can be of any more assistance to you.
               Thank You,
                     Bonnie
