Question Hi! I want to get into shape. But all I do when I work out is cardio mainly by jogging. I'm 23 year old male. I have never lift weight before but I know the benefits from weight/strength training. My goal is to have a lean but tone/strong body. What would you suggest?
Answer Hi Rafael. If your goal is to get strong and lean, here are three recommendations:
1)Stop jogging and start doing some type of interval or energy system work.
2)Start a strength training program that is made up of: mainly compound exercises, supersets, and short rest intervals.
3)Get some nutritional guidance. A crappy diet will always beat any well designed program, especially in regards to body composition.
