Question Hi David -
My wife suffers from shingles. She’s 57 years old. So far it’s been 8 weeks. What causes it… she’ll think it’s over, and then it starts up again. Some folks tell her to have a vaccine, others say it’s too late. The worst happens late at night, as she says that it’s like a knife stabbing her in the side. The areas concerned is on her left side, from the navel to the spine. Vomiting is frequent. Are there any home remedies or recommended medications? Please help!

I suggest you ask your question of one of the many medical doctors who volunteer their time here at AllExperts. Or even better, have your wife visit a doctor or visit one yourself to learn more about your wife's condition.
