Answer
nadia, Thank you for your question.

Sometimes we need someone to listen to us. For this, we should seek friends, relatives, pastors, and professionals in the fields of psychology, psychiatry, and social work.

What I do is not on the level of the problem itself, but rather on the level of our responses to problems. I try to let people know about a simple mental technique that they can practice twice a day to eliminate stress stored in the nervous system.

When stresses are eliminated, the result is refreshment. Instead of seeing the whole world through depression-colored glasses, we start enjoying life again.

The most effective way to eliminate stored stresses is to transcend thought. That means following a thought back to its creation. All thoughts are created within a field of pure silence, intelligence, and creativity. Contact with that field is enjoyable and expands our awareness. Even a little contact removes great suffering.

To find out more, explore www.tm.org to find out about the Transcendental Meditation® technique. I offer an inexpensive alternative to Transcendental Meditation called NSR Meditation©, which you can explore at www.nsrusa.org.

I hope this brief answer has helped. Please feel free to submit follow up questions, if needed.
