Question I have known that I am not the most limber and don't stretch as much as I should, but my boyfriend (new) has informed me that I am as limber as a brick. He is worried about longevity and stretching. My inner thighs are tight and he said its like my tendons feel calcified they are so tight. So im guessing im not the best in bed because of this! Help, what can I do? My hip flexors are tight, hams are too and it hurts my back. But apparently i cant stretch my legs open for sex either, so its the tendons inside my legs that do feel very stiff. What can i do for this?
Answer Hi Sharon
Thanks for your inquiry. It's a pleasure to help and I hope the following is beneficial.
Some people are naturally more flexible than other, but there are still a few things you can do to improve your situation.
Start to incorporate some stretches into your normal exercise routines. Make sure you warm up properly first and then add a few stretches for the hips, groin, lower back, hamstrings, etc.
A massage will also help to improve flexibility, especially if you feel like you can't get past a certain level of flexibility.
A personal trainer can also help with your flexibility. They will be able to incorporate some partner stretches to further extend your flexibility.
And don't forget good nutrition; especially hydration. Dehydration will definitely hurt your flexibility.
I hope the above has been helpful. For more information on how to stretch properly and the best stretching exercises for you, visit www.TheStretchingInstitute.com
