i was diagonosed with fibromyalgia, which i think started up after a sports injury to my neck. thankfully its alot better.
i still have slight pain in my neck, which my physio has me doing these exercises to get stability in my shoulder blades.
thing is with squeezing your should blades, it sometimes feels like i not doing much, and so i over squeeze which he says is not good.
the exercises are simple. basically just lie down holding your arms out, squeeze the shoulder blades, and move your arms slowly up, holding it then down. thats one exercise.
is there any way to check if i am squeezing right? because he says i am moving my chest too much.
i just dont know.
i will appreciate any advice.
thanks

Answer Hi Husain,
Thanks for your inquiry. It's a pleasure to help and I hope the following is beneficial.
I would suggest you perform the stretches whilst with your Physio so he can observe you, this way he will be able to tell you if you are performing them correctly or not and give you some guidance.
I hope the above has been helpful. For more information on how to stretch properly and the best stretching exercises for you, visit www.TheStretchingInstitute.com
