Subject: check engine light

Question
I recently had a non-subaru technician perform my 60,000 mile service on my 95 Legacy LS.  After he completed the job the check engine light would not turn off after the initial start of the car.  Is this related to the work he did for the 60,000 mile service?
Thanks!

Answer
Joel,
A friend of mine had the same problem your probly having. The knock sensors need to be replaced. I dont exactly know what knock sensors are but they are the reason the check engine light is on. To get them replaced you need to go to a dealer. It costs about $100.
Thanks,
Ian
