Subject: 2000 Subaru Forrester misfiring cylinder 3

Question
My car sometimes almost stalls/floods when I give it gas. I have 100k miles on it. I have an engine check light for code P0303. I have replaced the upstream and downstream O2 Sensor. So, 2 questions. 1) which cylinder is cylinder 3? and 2) how do I get the egressed spark plugs out to check/replace them.

Answer
Passenger side, rear is cylinder # 3.

As far as how to replace the spark plugs, here is what we use, a snap-on double wobble spark plug socket with a locking extension.

But if are you asking for a step by step process as far as what to remove , take out the air box on the passenger side and the washer bottle drivers side from there it should be pretty straight forward.

You should be able to figure it out for your self, if not take to a pro.

Justin
