Subaru Repair - Subaru dies

Follow-Ups to Answer from Expert Dan

When a car dies suddenly, and nothing works, but then can be jump started, you might want to have the starter checked. I have had two starters short out intermittently. When the starter gets hot, the insulation breaks down and shorts out. When the motor cools off, sometimes everything clicks back on. Very frustrating.
