About GMan
Expertise I can answer any/all questions in regard to "sublime". I was down with the band and Skunk Records since 1991; the year they released their second cassette, "Jah Won't Pay the Bills" until the end in 1996. I have answers to all of your questions about their music, their releases, their unreleased music, their promos, merchandise, and the like. You ask it, I'll answer it.
Experience I have extensive knowledge of "sublime" from their origin(s)through the end of their career. I have been involved with "sublime" from the early years when Kelly Vargas was on Drums, I know everything that there is to know about their early career, their rise to fame in the early 90's, & on through until May 96' when Brad passed away. I specialize in the band's merchandise. I have been collecting everything that is "sublime" since the beginning and have extensive knowledge on the subject. They released an unparalleled amount of DYI promotional merchandise before being signed to MCA & I would be glad to help you find out what piece of their BIG puzzle you are holding on to and/or what you'd like to get your hand on!
Publications I am a regular on all of the sublime chat boards and was a constant on the now defunct sublime board, "The Curb" where many people considered me the "go to guy" for information on "sublime" and the rarities that they left behind for us all.

Question i'm writing a paper for my comp2 class about the band. and i've found all kinds of info on bradley but i'm having trouble finding info on bud and eric anything that you could tell me about them i would be very greatful for also if you could tell me anything about the reunion and the new guy would be great to. i would also be intersted in knowing your thoughts about said reunion and the legal battle with the nowell estate. thanks for the help
Answer Hey Jimmy,
Sorry Bro, I don't talk about anything but the "real" sublime here. The "Reunion" and/or "reformation" is not 'sublime' as far as I'm concerned & I don't want to discuss my personal feelings on the re-grouping of the band.
And, as far as Bud & Eric go:
Eric John Wilson was born February 21, 1969 & Floyd "Bud" I. Gaugh IV was born October 2, 1967.
They both grew up in Long Beach & Eric lived across the alley from Brad's Dad. Brad had a band called "Second Sight" in the 9th grade at Wilson High school in Long Beach, California & Bud Gaugh was briefly in the band toward the end.
They all "knew of" each other for most of their childhood; since around age 10 when Brad moved to his Dad's in Long Beach. But they didn't really become "friends"... you know how that goes.... Until like late 1987 when they started to jam together.
In 1987-88, Brad was attending Cal State Long Beach & there he met up with Eric and Bud.
The guys played their first gig together on July 4th or 1988.
I would suggest that you rent (or buy) the DVD: "Stories, Tales, Lies, & Exaggerations" which is the "sublime" story (as told by the band, family, & friends.) to help you to complete your paper.
I hope this helps.
"All Sublime All The Time"
Peace,
GMan
