Question yo whats good man In the song Garden Grove (take 2) from EUTS in the last minute of the song brad takes a solo. I know he used the boss dd-3 for his delay but i still cant figure out how he gets that sound. im sure he is using a wah but i dont know what type cause mine dont sound like that at all. so my question is which effects is he using to do this?
Answer As far as i can tell...it'a a wah-delay..and most importantly reverb w/ a slightly dirty sound to it(slight distortion). I have a mesa double rectifier roadster..and all of those effects..and was able to recreate the sound to an extent...but i'm no brad nowell.I'm sure if we both had the tab for that it would be eaiser..cause we'd know when to sweep the wah foward or keep it rocked back for the bass sounds. Reverb and wah together give a nice one/two punch..try it out and let me know if that helped out at all. Take care brooks,and thanks for taking the time to write.,.,andy=}
