AboutAndy Expertise I am very familar with all sorts of questions pertaining sublime and the groups members.Whether it be about brad's songs,tattoos,guitars,amp,recordings,there isn't much i can't answer,and if i am not able i am willing to research until i can find one.
Experience Saw sublime play at the 1st warped tour on august 17th 1995 at the tweeter center(was the blockbuster pavillion then),saw Long Beach Dub Allstarts perform in 2002 at the electric factory in philly.I have been playing guitar for 8 years and have both published versions of sublime guitar tab,plus can play almost 90% of sublimes music to a tee.I also have connections in the tattooing industry,and knowlege about the bands tattoo's from various interviews,pics,live show tapes,and a segment from tattoo magazine featuring opie ortiz,who inked alot of the band.Have Also been following the LBC music scene since 1995

Answer Hey Brandon,.,thanks for writting in.,,i'll try and give you some insight on the death of bradley nowell.
After playing a show in petaluma california on may 24th,1996 the band headed north to san fransico to crash for the night.Brad and the band had just launched a week long mini tour in preperation to head overseas to europe to open for pennywise and promote the new album that was to be called "killin it"
Bradley was married the week before and at this point clean for several months..some point on the tour he got turned on to heroin..and according to his bandmates..he just wanted one more good time..one last celebration party.
He went off into the night after the show..no one really knows where he went.The next morning he woke up early and tried to get his bandmates up to see the waves crashing..they were all hungover and declined..so he phone his wife.He was happy and sung thier song to her "santa monica" by everclear..after that he took lou dog for a walk on the beach.
He returned to his hotel and shot up for the final time.His drummer and longtime friend bud gaugh woke up and found brad kinda hanging half outta bed..and naked.At 1st he thought brad was just way fucked up..then he saw he was blue and had some yellow foam around his mouth(which normally indicates an overdose)..he tried to revive him..but he was already gone.Bud got rid of the drugs in the room and phoned 911.Bradley was prounced on the scence..he was 28 years old..he left behind a wife of 1 week and an 11month old son..may 25th 1996.
