I have been involved with "sublime" from the early years when Kelly Vargas was on Drums, I know everything that there is to know about their early career, their rise to fame in the early 90's, & on through until May 96' when Brad passed away. Publications I am a regular on all of the sublime chat boards and was a constant on the now defunct sublime board, "The Curb" where many people considered me the "go to guy" for information on "sublime" and the rarities that they left behind for us all.
Question Hey GMAN, My friend gave me a photograph that he had taken of the band in the early 90's. What I am trying to find out is the exact year and the location. It appears to have been taken in some basement which I believe could have been their crib and behind them on the wall is written in black marker "sublime" If I could, I would like to send you a copy and have you check it out. Honestly, I feel blessed to have received this picture which I believe is rare and priceless. Any information would be greatly appreciated. . I have lost contact with my friend who gave it to me and got no information on it at that time.
