Experience I have been a huge fan for 14 years, I ran a server which distributed Sublime's live and unreleased music 24/7 for 4 years, I have answered questions about the band daily for years on their old website, and I know some of the largest collectors in the world. I created the 5 CD bootleg "Rewind Selector" which documents the influences of Sublime and was the topic of a Spin Magazine interview.
Education/Credentials I did not study music in college, but I majored in English, so I can write a clear response. I worked as a research assistant in the past, so I have skills in research if I need to figure out an answer.

Your best bet is to find a POSTER of the self titled art work, but that might be impossible to find. The 40oz sun is the popular poster. Go to google.com and search words under the image search, specifying that you only want large images.
That scan should be all you need, but there might be ones with better color (a little work in Adobe Photoshop could correct that one -- adjust the Levels). There is not a better picture of the tattoo than that one.
In case you were wondering, that is not a font (Old English is the closest font), but it is custom lettering done by Opie Ortiz. If you went to his tattoo parlor, American Beauty Tattoo Parlor in California, he might be able to hook you up. Sublime's older logo IS a font, however: Courier New.
