Question How much is a license for breeding and selling sugar gliders?
Answer Dear Samantha:
It wasn't terribly expensive. As I recall not more than $100-$120 for my initial license and about $70/year after that. I don't know how much it is this year, but I can provide you with some information to check:
I live in the western region, so here is the number I would call:
USDA, APHIS, AC
2150 Centre Avenue, Building B, Mailstop 3W11
Fort Collins, CO 80526
Telephone: (970) 494-7480
My question to you is why are you asking. Do you want to breed more than 3 females? The USDA relaxed its regulations. It is not necessary to get a license to breed up to 3 females.
