Question actually i am doing my BE(I.T) from mumbai university ,india...but we never had any course subject dedicated to JAVA.
i want to know from where can i do java certification courses?, what are it's advantages?
what is the procedure?

I´m not a Java programmer but i reckon it would be best to buy some books, program alot and take the certification afterwards. Í dont know how it is with java but you need at least a few month/years to take an Oracle certification.
Advantages: with an certificate it´s proven that you understand the concepts and have the knowledge to work in the specific area.
