Subject: Spark Plug

Question
96 Suzuki Savage LS 650.

How do I get the spark plug out? I have flooded it and need to clean the plug.

Thanks,

C. Lee

Answer
Most motorcycles come with their own set of wrenches to remove the plug with. If you can't get at it, well that's a different story. In that case you may have to remove the gas tank. You probably just have to get at it and turn counterclockwise fairly hard and it should pop right loose for you. P.S. on a cold engine remove plug because when they are hot the metal expands locking the spark plug in its position.
