Question Hi there David,
I have a 1989 Suzuki Sidekick 4x4. Can I tow this behind my RV without using a trailer or dolly? I know this question is right up your alley!
Thanks,
Gene M.
Answer If it has a manual transmission, yes, leave the front hubs out(free), and the trans in neutral. If it has an automatic, you can just unbolt the flange at the rear differential, and tie it up out of the way, while still making sure the front hubs are disengaged. It's easy to slide underneath it, and less than a half hour to bolt or unbolt the driveshaft. I've been told it follows better without the dolly. I've no tow experience myself, I'm one of the tent brigade.
Have fun Scotty
