Question -
i have a suzuki side kick and i am having trouble when trying to start it,it dont want to take fuel like it should, and i tried to hook to mt2500 snap on scanner and it want take it.my question is what could be the problem and why want scanner hook up and show codes?
Answer -
The mt2500 isn't versatile enough to do everything on all models.  To the best of my knowledge, nobody's scanner is.  You should be determining what portion of the fuel system is not operating within parameters.  Check delivery pressure, volume, return volume, and whether the injector is getting an appropriate signal.

Answer
It sounds like a problem with something in the electronic portion of the injection.  First check MAP sensor, and TPS.  The description of your problem sounds like it could be in there.  If the ECM fails, there's usually no injector triggering.  Yours runs, so that's less probable.
