About karinafp
Expertise
I`m a teacher from and in Sweden. I teach Swedish as well as English, French, Spanish and music. I`m also rather good at finding information on the Internet.

Experience
I've been an expert at askme.com, and was rated # 1 in the "Language" category. Must have been doing something right, then...

Question
Can you tell me where on the internet I can find a source for the Swedish equivalent of such common phrases as "thank you", "you're welcome" and others which are said on a daily basis? I know the first is something like "tak sa mica" (that's how it sounds phoenetically to me) but I know of no source to the written words and would like to spell correctly. Thank you so very much!

Answer
Take a look at:

http://www.travlang.com/languages

and choose Swedish.
Scroll down the page a bit, and you'll get several choices about what kind of words and phrases you would like to learn.

At

http://www.word2word.com/coursead.html#swedish

You'll get links to other sites where you can learn the basics of Swedish.

Enjoy!

Karin
