Question
Hi Karin,

hope all is well. Greetings to the family.

Am I right in thinking you once told me that the Scandinavia came from the name of some mountains called SKAND or something?

If not, where does it come from, pls?

Cheers,

Simon

PS Many thanks for your excellent last answer.

Answer
Hi Simon!

How nice to hear from you again!

Yes, you're right. The mountain chain is SKANDERNA, and it's the ridge along the border between Sweden and Norway. It's the same mountain ridge that continues down to Scotland, by the way.

I hope that everything is well with you and your family.

Kram,
Karin
