Question
Do you think that swedish people are, in general, timely?  Meaning are the punctual to appointments?  When they invite you for dinner do you show up ON TIME?

thanks, Mike

Answer
Oh yes, a Swede is NEVER late for an appointment! That is considered not only impolite but also very rude. We can be a couple of minutes early, but never, never late. This also means that you should never be late for an appointment with a Swede, if you want to make a good impression. If you're invited for dinner at 7.30 you should be there at 7.30 at the very latest, because that's when the food is ready to be served.

Regards,
Karin
